Our Story
Why do people seek art?
Because it's beautiful. Because it's pretty. Because it's rare.
I'm sure they're all correct, but I feel like the right answer for me is a little different.
What I came across was an idea from social psychology called "Terror Management Theory."
"As long as we live, we will eventually die"
When faced with this unavoidable reality, people may feel the need to cling to something beyond their own existence.
Art, music, poetry, stories. By participating in the cultural activities that humanity has built up, we can touch a little bit of "eternal peace." This hypothesis resonated with me deeply.
I once studied sculpture at an art university and aspired to be an artist. At the time, I was just so absorbed in creating things that I didn't realize this feeling. However, when I gave up on my dream after my father became ill, and later encountered this theory, something suddenly clicked within me.
That's why wearing art is a form of healing, prayer, and joy for me.
If someone who wears OUR ART feels the same sense of comfort as I do, then I would be extremely happy.
"Wear art and live with art."
