Our Story

Why do people seek out art?
Because it's beautiful. Because it's pretty. Because it's rare.
I'm sure all of them are correct. But I feel like the right answer for me is slightly different.

What I arrived at was a concept from social psychology called "Terror Management Theory."

"As long as a person is alive, they will inevitably face death someday."
When faced with this unavoidable reality, one might feel compelled to cling to something beyond their own existence.

Art, music, poetry, stories. By participating in the cultural activities that humanity has built up, we can touch, even if only a little, "eternal peace." I deeply resonated with this hypothesis.

I once studied sculpture at an art university and aspired to be an artist. At the time, I was so engrossed in creating that I didn't realize this feeling. However, after giving up my dream due to my father's illness, and later encountering this theory, something suddenly clicked into place within me.

That's why, for me, wearing art is healing, a prayer, and pure joy.

If someone who wears OUR ART feels the same sense of peace as I do, that would make me incredibly happy.
